As an "independent-fee" Consultant and Evaluator of objets d'Art, Antiques, and other important Collectibles, Martin M. Carmelly has no vested interest in the property submitted to him for appraisal. The remuneration for his professional services is never based upon a contingent "percentage" of the value reported. |
The remuneration for Mr. Carmelly's services is based on a pre-determined "hourly-fee", billable to the client according to the number of hours required to complete a given assignment (plus any out-of-pocket expenses incurred for same). Mr. Carmelly will, upon request, provide PRELIMINARY CONSULTATIONS—by telephone, or by email (if feasible), or by attending 'on site' (when necessary)—at which time he usually submits PRELIMINARY ESTIMATES of the anticipated 'fee' and related charges for equally anticipated services. |
